Saturday evening found us staying at the Premier Inn Evesham meeting up with friends from “The Jaguar Drivers Club” prior to their Halloween Spooktacular Event at Gaydon the next day.
With the Beefeater being situated next door to the Premier Inn it was a natural choice and we had a reserved table for 12 diners. The menu was pretty standard pub style grill style meals, I ordered a starter of Grilled Koftas followed by a Beefeater Mixed Grill and mrs silver ordered the Garlic Prawn Pan followed by the Smothered Chicken Melt.
We had taken advantage of Premier Inn’s Meal deal offer and paid £49.98 for both meals – which also included a Pint for me and a glass of Rose for my better half, as well as full breakfast for the next morning – all in all good value and saved us a tidy sum (saving us over £12).
The food arrived promptly and proved to be very nice indeed with generous portions, service was ok although they were very slow at clearing empty glasses away from the table. Only downside was that the restaurant closed promptly at 23:20 which made the evening end a bit abruptly for us, bit if a shame as the Premier Inn has no public areas and we were surprised to have the evening cut short so soon considering it was a Saturday night.
Sunday Morning and we were back for breafast 🙂 there was plenty on offer including fruit juices, hot drinks, cereals, full english (self service), and a choice of continental selections. Everything was of very good quality and despite being served buffet style was piping hot and freshly cooked, it certainly set us up well for the day ahead!
