Since moving, we have had to go through changing doctors and pharmacies, which is no easy feat! Mrs SS and I both have conditions that require on-going treatments, so getting registered with a doctor and sorting out prescriptions was really essential for us both. Thankfully for us the whole process was really smooth and we have been quite lucky with how it all panned out.
However, I was recently introduced to the concept of online pharmacies and I find it really interesting. Someone told me about The Independent Pharmacy and it seems to be one of the best out there. Obviously I haven’t been on all of the online pharmacy websites but when I looked at their website there didn’t seem to be much I couldn’t find on their site – they even have a handy list of treatments that they can help with!
I have to be honest and say that I didn’t realise it was that easy to get medicines online, but I can see that it would be really handy. Of course, it’s important to make sure that you do your research and make sure that the place you are shopping with is legit and you are getting what you pay for. Thankfully looking online there are tonnes of reviews so doing your research shouldn’t be a chore.
When you think about it, so many of us now are shopping for everyday items online and we do it without really giving it a second thought. So it makes sense that getting something like medication is made as easy as possible too!
